The DPS schoolsystem

Although the DPS school system seems to be nice and helpful, its not. Here are 3 reasons why: they are racist, they don't care too much about bullying, and they let any kind of people work for them.

They're racist. They do not allow African-American/colored kids to attend I.B. league classes. I once knew these two girls whom I attended middle school with, and our teachers would always tell them that they should be in I.B. classes. Their response was always that the school said that they were not allowed to because they were African-American.

They don't care about bullied kids. Every time a kid gets bullied to the point of suicide, all they do is put up more posters and tell the teachers and administration to keep an eye out.

They let any kind of people work for them. I had this teacher in the 3rd grade who was terribly strung out. All of the other teachers knew it. Even the students.  And DPS did nothing about it even after all the calls they were getting. Finally in the middle of 5th grade, they fired her. They fired her because she started losing weight and losing her teeth. It was sad. But I kept in touch with her and she's doing better because she was in rehab for the past 5 years and she just got released last month. Poor Mrs. Mayfield.

All in all, the DPS school system is a terrible place to send your child for their education. Send your kids to private school.
