  Even though people think kids use technology to bs around, we don't. We actually use it for homework, news, typing papers, and research.

Now days they can make applications for devices to type papers and other things. For example, iPods and iPhones. You can put the google chrome and microsoft word applications on your device to tpye papers. I have both of those applications on my iPod and whenever I do not finish a typed paper at school I can finish it at home. If you don't have a desktop or laptop at home this is great for that.

 Kids can even do their homework on their devices. They can go to websites to find information for science and mathmatics classes. For example, I was able to go online on my iPod to do research for my earth science class. I was able to find all the information I needed on the planets. Since I was able to do all of this at home with no distractions, I got extra credit for my project. Technology can be a positive way to get an education.

 Finally, the latest and new news information.  I was the first kid at my school to know about the "Boston Bombing". I was on msn.com on my iPod device and that's the first thing I saw was there was a bombing during the boston marathon. If I miss the news on TV I can still go online and see what's going on. All in all kids can use technology for entertainment, education, and much more
